There are many causes elated to FDNY and families. Many of these causes help all New Yorkers- such as the Burn Center. this page will list such items here in the hope that others will be inspired to help too. If you know of a “Good Cause”, please contact us and we will review and post it.

The NY Post and the UFA have set up a Heroes Fund for the families of the firefighters who died or were critically injured on Sunday, Jan. 23,2005. Please contribute and let these families know that their sacrifice and suffering are not forgotten, and is recognized.

The inspiration for this section came from reading about the Downing Family. Their call for donations to go to Sloan-Kettering and the Burn Center simply expresses the rare grace with which they have faced their great double loss.  the general public so rarely hears about the many wonderful things that fire families do for their communities but Good Causes will be a place to let them know, and perhaps move them to help too.
